Biography
Dr. G. Blair Lamb is a pain and rehabilitation specialist
practicing in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. He began his career in the
rehabilitation field when he suffered a series of accidents causing
profound pain and loss of function of his spine and limbs. Current
medical management was unsuccessful in remedying his pain and
impairment.
Fortunately, Dr. Lamb began his study of muscle dysfunction and
scarring, studying "high-tech acupuncture" and soft tissue laser
therapy. A complete recovery by Dr. Lamb was only possible once he
completed his program of Resistance Stretching ®.
He has treated hundreds of patients achieving amazing results where
others have failed.

Dr. Lamb is a co-inventor of a medical services system with patents
pending in the United States and Canada. He also has invented a new
method and kit for using Botox™ in the treatment of certain pain
conditions with patents pending in the United States and Canada as
well.
Publications
The Lamb Program® of Resistance Stretching ™ : Dr. Lamb created
the specialized rehabilitation system of the Lamb program® of
Resistance Stretching ™ which has shown to be able to stop and
reverse the progression of most myofascial pain and dysfunction and
its complications thereof (migraine, carpal tunnel, RSI, sciatica).
The Lamb program has been applied to video, CD and book formats for
use by the general public and health care professionals. Dr. Lamb
wrote and produced the series designed to remedy many forms of
myofascial pain. (1995). Version two consisting of four levels and
more than two hundred exercises in 3D is under development.
Smoke Cessation in the Nineties: Dr. Lamb wrote and produced the
self-help manual and video for the cessation of smoking titled
"Smoke Cessation in the Nineties."(1993)
"When Muscles Malfunction & The Proposed Effect of Myofascial pain
and Dysfunction upon the gastrointestinal system": Presented at a
satellite conference of the Eighth World Congress on pain in August
1996.
The Pain Reliever Report: Dr. Lamb is publisher and author of this
new bimonthly newsletter for physicians. The report is intended to
educate physicians with respect to chronic pain and disease.

Education History
IMS Training: Trained with Dr. Chann Gunn of Vancouver, B.C., the
creator of Intramuscular Stimulation or IMS. This proven technique
helps reverse the scarring of muscle in myofascial dysfunction
affecting the spine and limbs. Special training was also provided by
Dr. David Simon (one of the original creators of the trigger point
technology). (Summer, 1994).
Laser Training: Dr. Pekka Pontinen, a major pioneer in laser
applications with respect to myofascial pain and dysfunction,
provided Laser training. Specific guidance in laser use with respect
to head and upper body injuries. (Summer 1994).
Canadian College of Family Practice: Acquired in 1998 post-graduate,
Toronto, Canada.
Rotating Internship: St. Joseph’s Health Center of London, Ontario.
Training included all major specialties with special interest in
emergency medicine.(1988-1989).
Degree of General Medicine: University of Western Ontario, London,
Ontario. Training included all major specialties with specific
emphasis on emergency and family medicine.(1984-1988).
Bachelor of Science: University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario.
Two years of Honour’s Biology with specific interest in vertebrate

Employment History
Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital: Member of affiliate medical
staff of O.T.M.H. member of the department of family medicine from
1989-1998.
Private Practice: Dr. Lamb has been in private practice since 1989
in areas of family medicine, emergency medicine, smoke cessation,
promotion of public health and pain/rehabilitation medicine. Dr.
Lamb continues to provide health seminars in pain and preventative
medicine.
Medical Supervisor: Medical supervisor to the KMH Cardiac
Investigation laboratory. Supervision and screening of cardiac
studies . (e.g. stress thallium, persantine, ventricular function
studies) (1990-1991)
Sheddon Smoke Cessation Clinic: Director and operator of the Sheddon
Smoke Cessation Clinic since 1993. Five years of smoking addiction
research provided the information necessary to produce the self-help
manual and video "Smoke Cessation in the Nineties." Smokers are
provided with pharmacotherapy and behavioral therapy necessary for
life-time smoke cessation.
The Lamb Laser & IMS Pain Clinic: Director and Operator of The Lamb
Laser & IMS Pain Clinic since 1994. The clinic specializes in the
treatment of myofascial pain and dysfunction which appears to be a
common cause of neck, back and limb pain. Dr. Lamb , who trained
with Chann Gunn, has advanced the technique of Intramuscular
stimulation and has combined treatment with The Lamb Program® of
Resistance Stretching ™ allowing for excellent recovery in most
cases.
